FAQs.

Tattoos.

  • Fine line tattoos use a single needle or very small needle groupings to create delicate, detailed designs with thin, crisp lines. They’re often minimal and elegant, making them a popular choice for first-time tattoos or subtle body art.

  • Fine line tattoos can be less painful for some people since they involve less shading and heavy needlework. However, pain level still depends on placement and your personal pain tolerance.

  • While fine line tattoos age gracefully, they may fade slightly faster than bold-lined tattoos, especially in areas that experience friction or sun exposure. Proper aftercare and sun protection help maintain their appearance over time.

  • Healing typically takes 2–3 weeks. Expect light peeling, slight redness, and some itchiness. Keep the area clean, moisturized, and avoid picking or scratching. Full internal healing may take up to 6 weeks.

    What to Expect

    • Days 1–3:

      • Mild redness, swelling, and tenderness around the tattoo

      • Ink may appear darker or slightly raised

      • Light weeping of plasma or ink (normal)

    • Days 4–7:

      • Skin may start to scab or lightly flake

      • Itching begins—do not scratch

      • Tattoo starts to dull slightly as healing layer forms

    • Week 2:

      • Peeling continues; fine lines may look patchy or faded temporarily

      • Itching may persist but will lessen

      • Avoid sun exposure and soaking in water

    • Weeks 3–4:

      • Most peeling is done; skin smooths out

      • Fine lines start to settle into final appearance

      • Continue moisturizing and protecting from sun

    • 1 Month and Beyond:

      • Full healing mostly complete

      • Touch-up may be needed if some lines faded or healed unevenly

    Tips:

    • Keep it clean and moisturized with fragrance-free lotion

    • Avoid picking or scratching the tattoo

    • Wear loose, breathable clothing over the area

    • Follow your artist’s aftercare instructions closely

  • An ink sack is a temporary fluid-filled bubble that forms under the bandage (especially if using a second skin or Saniderm-style wrap). It’s a mix of excess ink, plasma, blood and fluids from the healing process. It’s completely normal and should be left undisturbed until it’s time to remove the bandage—usually after 24–72 hours.

  • Unfortunately, if you are a minor under 18 years of age in the state of Texas, you are not allowed to be tattooed, even with a parent or guardian’s consent.

If you book an appointment and are not of legal age to be tattooed, your deposit will be forfeited.

  • If you have sensitive skin, we recommend coming into the studio to get a patch test, particularly if you are including colored ink in your project. Typically the patch test is for colored ink but also if you are unsure how your skin will react to our ink. This test will need to be booked 2 weeks in advance to your scheduled tattoo session in order to allow time for a reaction as well as for the patch to heal. In this patch test, we will tattoo a small dot/heart the size of a freckle with the color(s) you desired on a spot that can be exposed to the sun. This is to ensure you are not allergic to color pigments.

Allergic reactions to tattoo ink, including color ink, are possible, but severe or life-threatening reactions are rare. However, in some cases, allergic reactions can lead to serious complications, especially if the reaction triggers anaphylaxis, a severe and potentially life-threatening allergic reaction. Symptoms of an allergic reaction to tattoo ink can vary from mild to severe and may include redness, swelling, itching, rash, or blistering around the tattooed area. In rare cases, symptoms such as difficulty breathing, rapid heartbeat, dizziness, or loss of consciousness may indicate anaphylaxis, which requires immediate medical attention. Allergic reactions do not always occur the first time you are exposed to the color. For example, if you have had 3 or 4 tattoos without any problems, you could have an allergic reaction to the color ink the next time you have a tattoo. Keep in mind even if you're not allergic to the color ink now, you could develop an allergic reaction to the color ink years or decades later.

A patch test will not be a guarantee for years down the line.

  • Our booking rates are starting rates based on tattoo size and artist selection; however, depending on the detail of your piece and time it will take for your project, your project total will increase. We provide starting rates to prepare clients for an approximate total of what their service will cost. If you are looking for a more firm quote on your project, please contact our team.

  • Our team is made up of artists that want to uplift and support the individuals in the community. We do not believe in stealing artwork from other artists and believe they should be able to approve of if not also be compensated for their work.

In order to tattoo another artist’s work, we will need written permission or a tattoo ticket to verify that the artist is consenting to their art being used in this way. If there is no consent from the artist, one of our artists will classify the design as inspiration and will create a new design based off of the same concept.

  • When booking, we will ask you to insert your inspiration images and detailed description of your piece in our booking forms when you are ready to book your piece. If you want to attach more images than we have room for in the form, there is a section to add a corresponding Pinterest board link. For your board, we recommend only pinning images that are a direct inspiration for the piece you are booking. This helps streamline the design process for your artist. Once you have submitted your booking, your artist or the studio may reach out to you regarding your design only if they need more information from you to create your piece. If you do not hear from our studio or artists regarding your designs, you can expect to be presented your design in person on the day of your appointment to create minor tweaks during your session. Our artists do not pre-design unless they are doing studio or personal artist flash tattoos.

  • Our artists will work with you to understand your project and provide a personalized quote for you; however, our artists do not price match or honor quotes from other studios or artists.

  • All services require a deposit, as most of our team members work on an appointment basis. For most appointments, we require a 20% deposit, however deposits amounts may vary depending on the service.

Deposits are non-refundable and reserve your time with our artists. At the time of your service, your artist will subtract your deposit from the total and relay to you your remaining balance for you to pay.

  • While tipping is not required, our artists work hard for our clients and love to see your appreciation for what we do. Industry standard for tipping is between 15-25% depending on quality of work, quality of services, additional time, special requests etc.

  • One complimentary touch up for existing clients is available after 4 weeks from your original appointment and within 3 months of your original session.

Complimentary first touch-up are available to schedule for weekdays only.

No partial or full refunds will be given if you do not book or are unable to attend your touch up appointment. Any additional touchups thereafter will be at our current rate per session.

  • Follow aftercare instructions closely. Generally, you'll gently wash the area with unscented soap, pat it dry, and apply a thin layer of recommended ointment or lotion. Avoid soaking, sun exposure, and tight clothing over the area during healing.

  • Every tattoo is unique, so the possibility of correction or cover-up varies case by case. We recommend you inquire with us directly—send photos and details of your tattoo—and we’ll assess whether a corrective tattoo or cover-up is a good option for you.

  • Yes, certain medical conditions and situations may affect your ability to safely get tattooed. These include—but are not limited to—pregnancy, skin infections or irritations, allergies to tattoo ink, blood disorders, immune system conditions, or if you’re currently taking blood thinners. Always disclose your medical history to your artist beforehand. If you have concerns, consult your healthcare provider before booking your appointment.

Piercings.

  • We offer a variety of luxe piercings including:

    • Ear Piercings: Lobe, Stacked Lobe, Helix, Conch, Daith, Rook, and Tragus

    • Nose Piercings: Nostril

    • Belly Button Piercings

  • We do not offer baby or infant piercings. Our minimum age for child ear lobe piercings is 7 years old and up. Please note that the child must be willing and able to communicate consent throughout the process.

If at any point during the appointment the child clearly expresses discomfort, fear, or tells us to stop, we will immediately stop the service and refuse to proceed. This policy is in place to ensure the child’s emotional safety and respect their boundaries.

Parent or legal guardian must be present and provide valid ID & child’s birth certificate or ID.

  • Your artist will walk you through the placement, cleanse the area, and mark the exact spot. Using a sterile, single-use needle, the piercing is done quickly and professionally. You’ll feel a quick pinch, and it’s over in seconds.

We pierce using longer posts to accommodate for natural swelling during the initial healing process. The post refers to the straight part of the jewelry that passes through your piercing and secures the front and back of your piece.

Everyone’s ear anatomy is different, so we choose post lengths based on your unique structure and how your body may respond to the piercing. A longer post ensures there's enough space to prevent pressure, irritation, or embedding while your piercing heals safely and comfortably.

Once fully healed, you can switch to a shorter, more snug-fitting piece if preferred.

We finish by placing high-quality implant-grade jewelry and reviewing aftercare instructions.

  • Healing time varies depending on the piercing and your body.

    • Lobe: 6–8 weeks

    • Helix, Tragus, Conch, Rook, Daith: 6–12 months

    • Nostril: 2–4 months

    • Belly Button: 6–12 months
Be patient—just because it looks healed on the outside doesn’t mean it’s fully healed internally.

  • A piercing is fully healed when:

    • There’s no redness, swelling, discharge, or tenderness

    • The jewelry moves freely without resistance or discomfort

    • The skin around the piercing looks smooth and settled

Even if it looks healed on the outside, the inside may still be healing—especially for cartilage (helix, conch, daith, rook, tragus), nose, and belly button piercings, which can take 6 months to a year. Always wait until the full recommended healing period before changing jewelry to avoid irritation or complications. When in doubt, book a check-up with your piercer!

  • A piercing bump is a small, raised bump that can appear near the piercing site. It’s common and usually caused by irritation, sleeping on the piercing, or trauma (like snagging or touching it too often). These are not keloids. With proper care, piercing bumps usually go away on their own or with saline soaks and gentle care.

  • Clean your new piercing twice daily using a sterile saline solution. Avoid touching, twisting, or sleeping on it. Keep hair, makeup, and skincare away from the area. Avoid swimming in pools, hot tubs, or lakes during early healing. Do not remove or change the jewelry until fully healed. Stick to gentle care—no alcohol, peroxide, or ointments. Healing takes time, so be patient and consistent!

  • No—wait until the piercing is fully healed before changing the jewelry. Removing it too early can cause irritation, prolong healing, or lead to infection or closure.

  • Mild redness, swelling, or discharge can be normal in the beginning. If it worsens or you notice pus, increased pain, or fever, reach out to us or a medical professional. Do not remove the jewelry if infected—this can trap the infection inside.

  • Never. We use single-use, sterile needles for all piercings. Needles are safer, more precise, and far less damaging to tissue than piercing guns.

  • You should wait until your piercing is fully healed before switching to a hoop. Healing times vary by placement:

    • Lobes / Stacked Lobes: 6–8 weeks

    • Helix, Tragus, Conch, Daith, Rook: 6–12 months

    • Nose (Nostril): 2–4 months

Hoops tend to move more than studs, which can irritate a healing piercing. Switching too soon can cause swelling, bumps, or prolong healing. Always ensure your piercing is fully healed and consult your piercer if you’re unsure—it’s better to be safe before making the switch!

  • Yes, certain conditions may affect your ability to get pierced safely. These include active skin infections, eczema or psoriasis near the piercing site, pregnancy, allergies to metals, blood clotting disorders, diabetes, or if you are immunocompromised. It’s important to disclose your medical history to your piercer before your appointment. If you have any concerns, please consult your healthcare provider first.

Permanent Makeup.

    • Ombre Brows: A soft, shaded brow that starts lighter at the front and gradually darkens toward the tail—ideal for a powder-filled makeup look.

    • Combo Brows: A blend of microblading strokes in the front with machine shading throughout the rest of the brow—great for those wanting a natural yet defined brow.

  • The initial session takes about 2.5–3 hours, including consultation, mapping, numbing, and tattooing. A 6–8 week touch-up is recommended to perfect the shape and color.

  • Discomfort is minimal. We use a topical numbing agent to keep you comfortable throughout the procedure. Most clients say it feels like light scratching.

  • Healing takes about 10–14 days on the surface, with full internal healing in 4–8 weeks. Here’s what to expect:

    • Days 1–2: Brows appear bold and dark

    • Days 3–7: Peeling and flaking begin; color may lighten significantly

    • Days 8–14: Skin regenerates; brows look patchy or faded

    • Weeks 4–8: Color resurfaces and evens out

Don't pick, scratch, or apply heavy products while healing. Trust the process—color will soften and settle naturally.

  • Results typically last 1–3 years, depending on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Oily skin may fade faster. Annual touch-ups are recommended to keep the shape and color fresh.

  • Most skin types do well with ombre brows. Combo brows are great for clients who want a natural look with more structure. Those with oily, sensitive, or mature skin may be better suited for ombre instead of microblading alone.

    • Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and blood thinners 24 hours before

    • Don’t wax, tan, or get facials 1 week before

    • Avoid brow tinting at least 2 weeks before
Following pre-care helps reduce sensitivity and ensures better results.

  • Yes, certain conditions may prevent you from safely receiving a brow tattoo. These include:

    • Pregnancy or breastfeeding

    • Active skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, rashes) near the brow area

    • Recent cosmetic procedures (chemical peels, Botox, laser treatments) in the area

    • Uncontrolled diabetes or autoimmune disorders

    • Blood thinning medications or bleeding disorders

    • Allergies to pigments or topical anesthetics

If you’re unsure whether you’re a candidate, please reach out or consult with your healthcare provider before booking. Your safety is our top priority.

COMBO / OMBRE POWDER BROWS.

  • Lip blush is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that enhances the natural shape and color of your lips. It creates a soft tint, improves symmetry, and gives the illusion of fuller, more defined lips—perfect for a low-maintenance, no-lipstick look.

  • The initial appointment takes about 2.5 to 3 hours, including consultation, numbing, and the tattooing process. A touch-up is required at 6–8 weeks to perfect color and shape.

  • We use a topical numbing agent to minimize discomfort. Most clients say it feels like light scratching or pressure, but overall very tolerable.

  • Healing typically takes about 5–10 days on the surface and up to 6 weeks for full color to settle. Here's what to expect:

    • Days 1–2: Lips will appear brighter and more intense in color; mild swelling is normal

    • Days 3–5: Peeling begins; lips may flake or feel dry

    • Days 6–10: Color may appear faded or patchy as the skin regenerates

    • Weeks 2–6: Color slowly resurfaces and evens out

Final healed results will be 30–50% lighter than the initial color.

  • Lip blush typically lasts 2–3 years, depending on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Factors like frequent sun exposure, smoking, and exfoliating products can cause it to fade faster. Touch-ups are recommended every 1–2 years.

  • Most clients are great candidates! However, if you have frequent cold sores, we recommend speaking to your doctor about taking an antiviral (like Valtrex) before and after the procedure to prevent an outbreak.

    • Exfoliate and hydrate lips daily for 3–5 days before

    • Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and blood thinners 24 hours before

    • Stay hydrated and come with bare, makeup-free lips

    • If prone to cold sores, take prescribed antiviral 2 days before and after

  • Yes, certain conditions may prevent you from safely receiving lip blush. These include:

    • Pregnancy or breastfeeding

    • Frequent cold sores or herpes simplex virus (must take antiviral medication before and after treatment)

    • Active skin conditions (eczema, rashes, open wounds) on or around the lips

    • Recent lip fillers (must wait at least 4 weeks)

    • Blood thinning medications or bleeding disorders

    • Uncontrolled diabetes or autoimmune conditions

    • Allergies to pigments or topical anesthetics

If you have any medical concerns, please consult your doctor before booking. We’re happy to guide you through pre-treatment precautions to ensure a safe and successful session.

LIP BLUSH.

  • Brow lamination is a treatment that smooths and sets your brow hairs in place, giving them a fuller, more uniform shape. It’s perfect for taming unruly hairs and creating that “fluffy,” lifted brow look without makeup.

  • Brow tinting uses a semi-permanent dye to darken and enhance your natural brow hairs, making them appear fuller and more defined while also staining the skin. It’s a great way to add color and depth without daily pencil or powder.

  • The combined brow lamination and tint session typically takes 45 minutes to 1 hour.

  • Both treatments are painless. You might feel a slight tingling or warmth during the lamination process, but it’s generally very comfortable.

    • Brow Lamination: Your brows may feel a little stiff or crispy for the first 24–48 hours as the hairs set in their new shape. Avoid getting them wet or applying makeup during this time. After 48 hours, they will soften and look natural.

    • Brow Tint: The tint will appear very dark initially but will soften within 1–3 days. Avoid washing the brows excessively for 24 hours to help the color last longer.

    • Brow Lamination lasts 6–8 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle and aftercare.

    • Brow Tint typically stains the skin for up to 7 days and on the hairs it lasts 3–6 weeks, fading gradually with washing and exposure to sunlight.

    • Avoid getting your brows wet for at least 24 hours post-treatment

    • Don’t apply makeup or skincare products on your brows for 24 hours

    • Avoid excessive rubbing or touching

    • Use a gentle brow brush to keep hairs in place

  • Yes, there are a few conditions that may prevent you from safely receiving brow lamination or tint:

    • Active skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, open cuts, or sunburn) around the brow area

    • Recent brow treatments (waxing, threading, or chemical peels within 48–72 hours)

    • Allergies to hair dyes or perming solutions

    • Very sensitive or reactive skin

    • Pregnancy or breastfeeding (skin may be more reactive or sensitive)

If you’re unsure or have experienced reactions to beauty products in the past, we recommend doing a patch test 24–48 hours before your appointment.

Brow Lamination / Tint.

Eyelash Extensions.

  • Eyelash extensions are semi-permanent synthetic lashes applied individually to your natural lashes using a safe, professional-grade adhesive. They enhance the length, volume, and curl of your natural lashes for a fuller, more defined look.

  • Lash extensions typically last 2–3 weeks before needing a refill. Their longevity depends on your natural lash growth cycle, lifestyle, and aftercare routine.

  • When applied correctly and cared for properly, lash extensions do not damage your natural lashes. We always prioritize lash health and apply extensions in a way that allows your natural lashes to grow and shed as normal.

  • It’s not recommended. Mascara can weaken the adhesive and cause premature shedding. If you feel the need for extra volume, ask your artist about going fuller at your next fill.

    • Clean lashes daily with a lash-safe cleanser

    • Avoid oil-based products near the eyes

    • Do not rub, tug, or pull on lashes

    • Sleep on your back or side to reduce friction

Proper care extends the life of your lashes and keeps them looking full and fluffy.

  • Yes, but please let us know ahead of time. We have sensitive adhesives and can adjust the placement to minimize irritation. A patch test is recommended for first-time or sensitive clients.

  • We offer a variety of styles tailored to your eye shape and desired look:

    • Classic (one extension per lash for a natural look)

    • Hybrid/Light Volume (mix of classic and volume for soft fullness)

    • Volume (multiple fine extensions for a fluffy, full effect)

Styling is customized to fit your preference and eye shape.

  • Lash extensions may not be suitable for:

    • Clients with eye infections or conditions like blepharitis

    • Those with extremely sensitive eyes or allergies to adhesives

    • Clients who are unable to avoid rubbing or pulling their lashes

If you’re unsure, reach out or book a consultation first!

Permanent Jewelry.

  • Permanent jewelry is a custom-fit, claspless bracelet, anklet, or necklace that’s welded directly onto you. There’s no clasp, so it stays on until you decide to remove it. It’s a stylish, low-maintenance way to wear jewelry every day.

  • Not at all! The welding process is quick, painless, and safe. The spark is only on the jewelry—never your skin. We also use protective materials during the process for added safety.

  • We offer high-quality chains in 14k gold, gold-filled, and sterling silver. All materials are durable, tarnish-resistant, and skin-safe.

  • It can last months to years, depending on your lifestyle, placement, and metal choice. While it’s designed to stay on, it can be easily removed with scissors or wire cutters if needed.

  • Yes—if you ever need to remove it for medical procedures, travel, or personal reasons, it can be safely cut off. We’re also happy to re-weld or resize it if you save the chain.

  • If your piece breaks at the weld, we offer one complimentary re-weld within a set time (ask us for specific timeframes). Just bring your chain back in!

  • Yes! TSA does not require you to remove fine jewelry, including permanent pieces. You’ll be able to pass through security without issues.

  • Permanent jewelry may not be ideal if:

    • You have metal allergies (especially to gold or silver)

  • Absolutely! We offer private parties and pop-ups for events like birthdays, bridal showers, and girls’ nights. Contact us to plan your custom permanent jewelry experience.

Tattoo Removal.

  • A non-laser tattoo removal system that uses all-natural, plant- and mineral-based ingredients to safely lift, lighten, and fade unwanted ink. It’s a gentler alternative to laser removal and can be used on most areas of the body.

  • Our tattoo removal system works by opening the skin in the tattooed area (similar to tattooing), then applying a specially formulated solution that draws the ink to the surface. The body naturally expels the ink during the healing process.

  • Yes. We use all-natural ingredients free of acids, toxins, and harsh chemicals. It’s designed to be safe for all skin types and less aggressive than traditional methods like laser. As with all tattoo removal methods, multiple sessions may be needed.

  • Discomfort is similar to getting a tattoo. A numbing agent can be used to help minimize sensitivity during the procedure.

  • The number of sessions varies depending on the tattoo’s age, depth, size, ink type, and your body’s healing response. Some clients see visible fading after just 1–3 sessions, while deeper or darker tattoos may require more.

    • Redness, scabbing, and peeling are normal as the skin expels ink

    • Keep the area clean and dry

    • Avoid sun exposure, picking, or applying harsh products

    • Full healing can take 6–8 weeks between sessions

Your artist will provide full aftercare instructions to support proper healing and fading.

  • In many cases, yes. Our tattoo removal process can be used to remove brows and lip tattoos, but must be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Please send a clear photo for a consultation.

  • Yes! Our tattoo removal is designed to be safe and effective on all Fitzpatrick skin types, with reduced risk of hypopigmentation or scarring compared to laser.
